Shayna Rutman is an 18 year old activist who uprooted her charity project Purses For A Purpose- San Diego last May with the help of her dad. She has collected purses and bags and filled them with travel sized toiletries and delivers them to homeless women in her city. This organization centralizes itself with the purpose of reminding each homeless woman that receives a purse that they are valued and loved in society. She hopes that this cause will spark up a conversation about the homelessness crisis that the is facing as well as a way to produce more affordable hygienic products because every person in the country deserves access to self hygiene.
