Changes Coming To Purses...

Good morning! We have not been active on our blog for about a year, and for good reason. This vernacular may come to you as different, and that's because there are some fundamental changes that Purses For A Purposes is going through, so let's outline it!
My name is Renya Korbich, and I am the new Graphic Design & Social Media Director for Purses! I am also the West Chester Chapter Coordinator, which serves as a digital and physical resource hub for those in need in the Chester County area. This new leadership is not the only new and exciting happening, because there is also another very big change: we are now international!
Please meet our first and newest branch liaison, Ms. Niveditha Palani! Ms. Niveditha runs Women and Child Development Society, a nonprofit in Thiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu, India dedicated to transforming the lives of women and girls! We are so grateful and blessed to have Ms. Niveditha's genius brain combine forces with our mission, and to further both of our purposes!
While I could spend hours going on about Ms. Niveditha's accomplishments and all she has done to support women and children, I want to introduce the reason that I am here and able to tell you all of this. Purses For A Purpose is expanding in brand, members, and volunteers. From a small chapter started in California to a branch in India, Purses needs a little bit of a structural change between processes, standardisation, and brand identity, which all culminate into our mission.
I don’t want to bore you, so I will skip the technical details. I will, however, reveal what my purpose (haha, get it) at Purses is. Not only am I running a new chapter in southeast Pennsylvania, but I am redesigning the website. Phase One is complete, and if you look around, there are some structural and brand changes. All praise goes directly to Shayna Rutman, our founder and CEO, because she was the brilliant mind that created this brand, created the entire skeleton, and works soooo hard to keep Purses the great organisation it is. My job is to clean things up, create a stronger foundation and a process model for our organisation to move forward with, and to better establish an identity to further our reach.
The first phase (Phase One) of Project Revamp consisted of social media standardisation and resolutions, a basic website redesign, and establishing the new West Chester and India Chapter. Phase Two consists of finalising new internal structures and processes (boring administrative tasks, blah blah blah) and establishing more foundations that will take us further. Phase Three will consist of refining what we have newly built, a strategic social media campaign, and continuing our transparency and authenticity as an organisation.
I am so excited to reveal these fundamental plans, but don’t think that our work ends there. We have so many unreleased projects, campaigns/drives, and happenings that are set to take place, but we can’t reveal them yet!
Please click our names to view details on myself or Ms. Niveditha, and please keep up to date with our social medias!
Thank you to all of our sponsors, partners, volunteers, and those who keep up to date with us! If you are interested in supporting us or volunteering, please click here for our information on our newly redesigned website!
Xoxo,
Renya
